People Helping Horses will be hosting their 1st annual Open House, to
be followed by Dancin' in the Dirt dinner, dance, and auction.
Doors open at 11:00 AM to the public! Meet and greet with our resident rescues, board members, and volunteers. Have the kids build stick horses, and participate in stick horse races @ 1:00pm and 3:00pm for a chance to win prizes! Participate in Horse Poop Bingo and purchase Raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes! Concessions and refreshments will be available on-site. A jackpot Team Roping will also be happening in our large outdoor arena, starting at 11:00am.
Starting at 5:00pm, the facility will be open to the first 200 folks to purchase Dancin' in the Dirt tickets at www.ticketleap.com, for $25.00 each. Beer, Wine, Pop, and Water will be available starting at 5:00pm; dinner, a traditional Pit BBQ with all the fixens will start at 5:30, with the live auction starting at 6:30. Silent auction tables will close every 30 minutes starting at 5:00, and finishing at 6:30, just prior to the live auction. Enjoy Blue Canyon Blue Grass, along with a Belly Dancing Presentation while you mill around making bids and eating dinner.
Following the live auction, we'll have Dancin' in the Dirt with Gerry Andal. Listed below is a sampling of the items that have been donated to our Live and Silent Auction; thanks to their generosity, we are able to continue in our endeavours here at People Helping Horses!
